Written By Dr. Katie Nathan PT, DPT, NCS

Living with a neurologic diagnosis requires a comprehensive approach to your healthcare. This approach includes looking at the foods you eat more closely.
When you eat a poor diet you have higher levels of inflammation in your system. Apart from this making you feel unwell, higher levels of inflammation impair your gut microbiome and have been linked to Parkinson’s Disease, Alzheimer’s, Multiple Sclerosis, and depression.
The food you eat directly impacts both your inner- and outer-self. What you eat can impact the progression of your Parkinson’s.
